POSITION DESCRIPTION:
The Front-End Web Developer will take current and future User Experience designs to the next level by developing dynamic, high fidelity and functional web designs conforming to the latest industry standards.
Skills:
Strong knowledge in XHTML and CSS designs
Ability to create, update and troubleshoot complex JavaScript functionality and DOM scripting with JavaScript and various
JS libraries (JQuery, MooTools, MOJO, etc.)
Understanding of server technologies (JSP, PHP, ASP, Apache, Tomcat, etc.)
Working knowledge of Flash Action +2 scripting. Interactive design (Flash, Flex, Premier, etc.) a plus.
Expertise in converting user centered design concepts into working prototypes for usability testing.
Contract Type: Short Term Consultant
Experience:
Experience with Content Management Systems, Internationalization, Web Analytics Tools, SEO.
Overall familiarity with web-based community, ecommerce, mobile applications and accessibility standards.
Experience working on e-commerce environment +.
Must possess excellent written and interpersonal communication skills and be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.
Excellent organizational skills and a demonstrated ability to multitask and manage time efficiently.
Ability to assume intellectual ownership and possess strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality product
Portfolio of previous design/ development work demonstrating experience customer-facing design (provide links)
